Summary

Maintain strategic relationships with consultants and brokers external to the organization. Leads the development and execution of key producer firm strategies across the Cigna Global portfolio. The core focus is on providing key Producer partners with the information, tools and resources to efficiently and effectively grow their business with Cigna.

Major Job Responsibilities and Required Results

Work with Commercial Excellence Department, Sales and Client Management Leadership to develop and execute Producer and Market strategies for key Producer partners.

Lead the strategy for producer engagement events and leadership meetings.

Manage Producer relationships and provide 1st point of contact issue resolution for Producer firms that are directly managed.

Collaborate with Finance and Underwriting on interpretation of producer data to provide information to leadership teams on opportunities and risks.

Work in partnership with Sales & Client Management teams to ensure consistent messaging, sharing competitive intelligence and house/market strategy best practices.

Provide support and data driven counsel on producer survey results, compensation and service agreements.

Manage or assist in the management of supplement producer compensation agreements.

Lead the strategy, planning and execution of Producer training events in coordination with Sales and subject matter experts.

Manages producer channel with a clear understanding of the strategic and financial impacts; optimizes channel investment dollars and engagement for desired outcomes.

Identifies and ensures the execution of new and innovative key initiatives and products, as well as enhancements of current processes that drive overall growth and earnings

Partners closely with internal and external stakeholders such as Sales, Client Management, Finance, Legal, Underwriting, Marketing and others to ensure the appropriate objectives and priorities are enabled within the sales organization

Cigna Global Specific Responsibilities:

Lead strategy and development for new producer relationships.

Work with the US Producer Team to cross leverage best practices and relationships to drive additional new business.

Producer NPS Key Point of Contact for the development and results tabulation to align key strategies for our Producer partners.

Act as a support function for the Operational functions as it relates to Producer Relations.

Participate in key meetings and finalist presentations.

Requirements

7+ years industry experience (particularly carrier and/or consultant environment)

Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree highly preferred, master\xe2\x80\x99s degree a plus.

Owning, driving and influencing results and outcomes both internally with markets and externally with managed firms.

Proven ability to create and further develop strong relationships with Senior Leaders and key matrix partners.

Excellent oral/written presentation and communication skills.

Ability to navigate, lead, and influence in a matrixed environment is critical.

Adaptable, flexible and able to lead/manage the organization through change.

Goal-oriented and personally accountable; resourceful and self-directed.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Strong business acumen, with proven ability to leverage knowledge base and communicate this knowledge to key stakeholders and business partners.

Adapts to ambiguous or unfamiliar terrains.

Strong experience and skill managing relationships.

If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.

For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 96,500 - 160,800 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.

This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
