AECOM Providence Rhode Island Office is seeking a Bridge Inspection Team Leader.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

Performs field inspections according to requirements of RIDOT Bridge Inspection Manual and the FHWA National Bridge Inspection Standards

Supervises Team Members as well as access and equipment vendors

Work at heights, on ladders, on scaffolding and on aerial lifts, or other bridge inspection access equipment

Work in confined spaces, work adjacent to live traffic, work in or around water and work under adverse weather conditions

Work overnight as required, including work within railroad right-of-way

Prepares inspection reports

Performs quality control reviews of work developed by others

Provides estimates for the engineering budget and schedule

Participates in development of technical proposals

Qualifications

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor\'s Degree in Civil Engineering plus 4 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education

Experience in bridge inspection as a Team Leader

2-week NHI Course No. 130055 \xe2\x80\x9cSafety Inspection of In-Service Bridges\xe2\x80\x9d, or the 5-day NHI Course No. 130056 \xe2\x80\x9cSafety Inspection of In-Service Bridges for Professional Engineers\xe2\x80\x9d

NHI Course No. 130053 Bridge Inspection (Refresher when required)

Valid Driver\'s License with a good driving record

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

5 years of related bridge inspection experience

Professional Engineering (P.E.) License in the State of Rhode Island

NHI Course No. 130078 Fracture Critical Inspection Techniques for Steel Bridges

ANSI 92.24/92.22 Mobile Elevated Work Platforms/Snooper Training

Previous Fall Protection and Confined Space Training

Previous Amtrak Contractor Training

Long span bridge inspection experience as a Team Leader

Bridge Load Rating experience

Familiar with AASHTOware BrM database
