This Brand Assistant role will report into a Brand Manager and is an integral member of the marketing team, responsible for helping execute the brand strategy to continue driving tremendous growth nationally for Vital Farms. This role requires a self-motivated person who can operate at the intersection of business portfolio management and product commercialization, while supporting general marketing crew and brand needs.

What You\'ll Do

Product Management and Business Fundamentals:

  • Analyze and provide actionable insights from consumption data and business results, including assessments of consumer/market trends, category landscape, and evolving business environment.
  • Partner with the Brand Manager to set the vision and strategy for your key business lines over the next 2-3 years.
  • Lead cross-functional team members in the commercialization of new products, product changes, and/or quality improvements.
  • Partner with Sales in providing brand support for retail sell-in initiatives.
  • Own brand team inputs in the demand forecast process for your business lines alongside key internal stakeholders (Sales, Finance, Supply Chain, and Leadership).
Other Marketing Tasks:
  • Support in ongoing management and reporting of the comprehensive marketing budget
  • Tackle various other interesting projects to support the marketing crew and help us grow Vital Farms
What You Bring to the Table
  • Passion for ethical food and purpose-driven brands
  • At least 1-2 years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor\'s degree in Marketing or Business.
  • A passion for learning new things and expanding your skillset.
  • A curiosity for understanding the business holistically with a general management approach.
  • Ability to manage several different projects at a time with competing levels of urgency.
  • A willingness to learn and lead with a growth mindset.
  • Ability to balance big-picture strategic thinking with detailed, in-the-moment thinking.
  • Proven analytical skills with the ability to derive actionable insights and storytelling from data.
  • Ability to develop strong relationships across internal and external partners with sound interpersonal skills (ability to communicate effectively both written and verbally, collaborative attitude, and a strong team player).
  • Self-starter who can tackle and lead projects where there may be no precedence.
  • Self-aware and open to feedback.
  • Ability to travel.
