Black Forest Ranger | Event Coordinator & Urban Mushroom Farmer Black Forest Mushrooms is hiring a Black Forest Ranger (Event Coordinator & Urban Mushroom Farmer) to join our growing startup. As a Ranger (Event Coordinator & Urban Mushroom Farmer), you will be responsible for representing Black Forest Mushrooms at various farmers markets, coordinating with farmers market managers, sharing your knowledge about mushrooms, genuinely engaging face-to-face with customers, processing orders, completing deliveries, and supporting the CEA mushroom farm as needed. This role is ideal for an individual ready to take on a challenging and diverse yet rewarding role that will have positive impacts in our local community. The ideal candidate should be passionate about mushrooms, connecting with others, and promoting the benefits of hyper-local CEA mushroom cultivation within our community. While experience in mushroom cultivation and event coordination is a plus, we are primarily looking for someone with a positive attitude, a growth mindset, strong work ethic, and who is genuinely excited about mushrooms.   • Exceptional communication skills both verbal and written
  • Extremely clean and well organized
  • Ability to closely follow directions and procedures
  • Must be comfortable with repetitive tasks
  • Must be willing to work in person in a customer facing role
  • Ability to work both as a team and alone with little to no supervision
  • Able to stay on task and complete sales goals
  • Ability to follow safety procedures
  • Ability to safely work with precision tools and industrial equipment (sharps, high-pressure systems, high heat systems, etc.)
  • Desire to grow and promote within the company for long term career
  • Valid driver\'s license
  • Ability to safely drive to/from farmers markets and events
  • Willing and able to interact with the general public in an effort to educate them about mushrooms
  • Able to work flexible hours and types of work to support the company\'s needs such as farmers markets, lab work, manual labor, special events, etc. Experience is not required in these areas but the applicant must be willing to learn.
  • Ability to work in person in Everett, WA, and surrounding communities.
