Summary:
The Laboratory Biorepository QC Data Scientist will work on specific projects as designated and directed by the staff of the assigned company. Good organizational skills are essential because this position requires handling multiple projects at the same. All relevant information must be accurately recorded when working with the client\'s inventory and LIMS system. Required Duties: (This list is not comprehensive, but it used to provide general guidance. Other duties may be required.)
  • Work in a laboratory and office setting while conducting all operations within GLP regulation standards
  • Perform QC proofreading and accuracy checks of scientific reports and notebooks
  • Receive and process biospecimen samples including frozen biofluids
  • Coordinate with internal and external departments to ensure all shipments are tracked and received
  • Contact appropriate personnel to resolve sample discrepancies and provide feedback to ensure accuracy
  • Utilize Watson LIMS to create studies, import sample data, and maintain a digital inventory system
  • Ship samples to appropriate vendors and coordinate associated sample data including archiving
  • Report study data to management teams across departments
  • Organize existing inventory and perform sample disposal as needed
  • Lead and organize the process of archiving laboratory notebooks and records from start to finish, including processing requests, maintaining onsite archive, preparing for shipment offsite and recording proper documentation
  • Add to and maintain inventory of GLP laboratory notebooks and records
  • Maintain operational records, including, but not limited to equipment maintenance, service, and calibration records
  • Create and update records of GLP notebooks in the EDMS and other additional databases
  • Manage all forms throughout archival process including requests, shipment and chain of custody forms
  • Oversee and conduct the archival of digital data and associated forms
  • Assist with documentation and provide supporting information for related SOP and GLP deviations, if necessary

  • A minimum of an Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in science or related field.
