Overview

We are seeking a passionate and energetic Beertender to join our team. As a Beertender, you will play a crucial role in creating an enjoyable experience for our guests by serving a variety of beers and beverages in a fast-paced environment. Your knowledge of brewing and beer styles will enhance the customer experience, while your exceptional customer service skills will ensure that patrons feel welcomed and valued.

Responsibilities

Serve a wide range of beers and beverages to customers in a friendly and efficient manner. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring all equipment is in good working order. Engage with customers to provide recommendations based on their preferences and educate them about different beer styles and brewing processes. Handle cash register transactions accurately, including processing payments and managing tabs. Assist with inventory management, including tracking stock levels and placing orders as needed. Follow all food handling and safety regulations to ensure a safe environment for both staff and customers. Collaborate with other team members to provide excellent service during busy periods, including catering events or special promotions.

Skills

Previous experience in a restaurant, nightclub, or similar setting is preferred. Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks during peak hours. Proficiency with cash registers and basic retail math for accurate transaction processing. Knowledge of food handling practices to maintain health standards. A background in brewing or an understanding of beer styles is a plus but not required. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members. A willingness to help others and contribute positively to the team atmosphere.
