Responsibilities

Mix and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic drinks, following standard recipes and presentation guidelines. Engage with guests in a friendly manner, taking orders accurately and providing recommendations when needed. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring all tools and supplies are properly stored and sanitized. Handle cash transactions efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring accurate cash handling and sales recording. Monitor alcohol consumption to promote responsible drinking and adhere to food safety regulations. Support the team during busy hours by managing multiple tables or bar stations while maintaining excellent customer service standards. Assist with inventory management by tracking stock levels of beverages and supplies, reporting shortages promptly.

Qualifications

Previous experience as a bartender in fine dining, nightclub, or banquet settings is highly desirable. Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS to process sales smoothly. Strong time management skills to juggle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours. Excellent customer service skills with an approachable attitude and ability to connect with diverse guests. Knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service practices. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately and managing retail math calculations.
