Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair, ensuring consistency and quality. Engage with guests in a friendly, energetic manner, providing excellent customer service that encourages repeat visits. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards at all times. Manage POS (Point of Sale) system accurately for order processing and cash handling. Handle cash transactions efficiently, including cashiering duties, while ensuring accuracy in retail math calculations. Monitor alcohol consumption responsibly, adhering to legal drinking age laws and responsible serving policies. Assist with food service when needed, including serving snacks or small plates to enhance the guest experience. Manage time effectively during busy hours to serve multiple guests promptly without sacrificing quality. Support catering events, banquets, or nightclub functions by providing professional bartending services in various settings. Collaborate with team members to create a lively atmosphere that promotes sales and guest satisfaction. Stay updated on beverage trends, brewing techniques, and new cocktail recipes to keep offerings fresh and exciting.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a bartender in fine dining establishments, nightclubs, or banquet settings is highly preferred. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS; experience with cash handling and cashiering is essential. Strong knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly while maintaining professionalism. Demonstrated ability in time management to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours. Basic math skills for retail math calculations involving sales totals, tips, and change management. Prior experience in food industry roles such as food service or catering is advantageous. Knowledge of retail math concepts related to sales tracking and inventory control. Experience working in hospitality environments like nightclubs or banquet halls is a plus. Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays as required by the venue's schedule.
