Job Summary

We are seeking an enthusiastic and personable Bartender to join our dynamic hospitality team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent customer service skills, a strong knowledge of beverage preparation, and experience in fast-paced food and beverage environments. This role involves creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests, mixing drinks with precision, and ensuring a memorable experience for all patrons. Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS is preferred, along with a solid understanding of food safety and responsible alcohol service. The bartender will be instrumental in maintaining the bar's efficiency, cleanliness, and compliance with industry standards.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS. Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their overall experience. Manage multiple drink orders simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and quality. Ensure compliance with all food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service policies. Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and work surfaces. Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties. Restock bar supplies as needed to ensure smooth operation during shifts. Collaborate with kitchen staff for food service when required, especially during banquet or catering events. Monitor guest behavior to promote a safe environment, especially in nightclub or fine dining settings. Assist in training new team members on POS systems like Aloha POS and Micros POS, as well as service protocols.

Experience

Previous experience in food service or hospitality roles, particularly in fine dining, nightclubs, or banquet settings. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS is highly desirable. Demonstrated ability in serving beverages responsibly while adhering to alcohol laws and regulations. Strong time management skills to handle busy shifts efficiently. Experience in sales-driven environments with a focus on customer satisfaction. Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures. Background in catering or retail math is beneficial for cash handling accuracy. Proven ability to provide excellent customer service in fast-paced settings such as restaurants or bars involving brewing or food industry operations.
