What You'll Be Doing

Keep beverage service flowing smoothly throughout the dining room
Set the stage for success by stocking, organizing, and preparing beverage stations
Welcome and support new beverage team members with training and guidance
Anticipate guest needs and jump in to support waitstaff during busy meal periods
Track beverage orders and communicate wait times clearly and kindly
Prepare and serve beer, wine, and the occasional cocktail following established recipes and guidelines
Keep the beverage area sparkling clean and well-organized between and after services
Make sure the team has everything they need--glassware, garnishes, ice, and stocked coolers
Support catered events with setup, breakdown, and beverage service
Attend pre-meal huddles and collaborate with Chefs and fellow team members
Deliver a memorable first impression rooted in hospitality and care
Maintain department uniform, appearance, and grooming standards
Follow all OSHA safety regulations and applicable local health and safety laws

Strong communication skills and a tactful approach with residents, families, visitors, and coworkers
Comfort working with people from diverse cultural and socio-economic backgrounds
Ability to communicate effectively in English in resident areas
Willingness to participate in trainings, in-services, and team meetings

What You Bring
High school diploma or equivalent
Previous bartending experience
2-3 years of dining experience (senior living experience is a plus!)
TIPS certification or willingness to obtain during orientation
Comfort using basic computer software

Pay Range: $27/hour
