Duties
Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair, ensuring each drink meets quality standards.
Engage with guests in a friendly, energetic manner, providing personalized recommendations and ensuring an enjoyable experience.
Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process orders accurately and efficiently, managing cash handling and sales transactions seamlessly.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety and food handling regulations at all times.
Manage multiple responsibilities including serving food and drinks, cashiering, and supporting catering or banquet events as needed.
Monitor guest behavior to promote safety and responsible alcohol service, complying with all licensing laws and company policies.
Assist in inventory management by tracking stock levels, placing orders when necessary, and minimizing waste through effective time management.
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy nights at nightclubs or large events like banquets.
Uphold high standards of customer service by actively listening to guest needs, resolving issues promptly, and creating a welcoming environment.
Support the team in various food industry tasks such as food handling, and retail math calculations for sales accuracy.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a bartender in fine dining settings, nightclubs, or banquet environments is highly preferred.
Strong knowledge of POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS; familiarity with cashiering and cash handling procedures.
Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours.
Demonstrated ability in sales techniques with a focus on upselling beverages and enhancing guest satisfaction.
Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures to ensure compliance at all times.
Basic math skills for accurate cash handling, retail math calculations, and inventory management.
Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively in fast-paced environments.
Experience working in the food industry or hospitality sector; nightclub or catering experience is a plus.
Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays as required by venue operations.
