Bartender/Beertender

to join our team! The ideal candidate has a strong love for craft beer and a solid understanding of different styles, flavors, and brewing basics. This role is all about creating a welcoming, fun atmosphere while delivering excellent customer service, confidently guiding guests through our beer lineup, and keeping the taproom running smoothly. Duties

Prepare and serve beer, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently using POS systems like Aloha POS and Micros POS Engage with guests to provide excellent customer service, ensuring their needs are met promptly and professionally Manage cash handling, cashiering, and basic math calculations for billing and change Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards Monitor guest consumption to promote responsible drinking and prevent over-serving Restock bar supplies, garnishes, glassware, and beverages as needed Collaborate with kitchen staff during catering events or food service operations Assist in setting up for special events. Uphold all food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service policies

Qualifications

Proven experience in bartending and food service Familiarity with POS systems including Toast Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy periods Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor Knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol serving practices Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for cash handling and sales transactions Experience in retail math, catering, or hospitality industries is advantageous Previous experience working with brewing or beverage preparation is a plus Ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and guests

Pay: From $5.00 per hour
