Job Summary

We are seeking an enthusiastic and personable Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, excellent customer service skills, and experience in food and beverage service. This role involves creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests, mixing drinks, and ensuring an exceptional experience in a fast-paced environment such as a nightclub, restaurant, or banquet setting. Prior experience with POS systems like Aloha POS and Micros POS is preferred, along with a strong understanding of food safety and responsible alcohol service.

Duties

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests in accordance with company standards and recipes Use POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process orders accurately and efficiently Manage multiple tables or bar stations while maintaining high levels of customer service Ensure all drinks are served responsibly, adhering to alcohol laws and food safety regulations Handle cash transactions, perform cashiering duties, and balance registers at the end of shifts Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, glassware, and equipment in compliance with health standards Assist with food service when needed, including serving food or catering events Engage with guests to create a positive environment, promote specials, and upsell beverages when appropriate Follow all safety procedures related to food handling, beverage preparation, and responsible alcohol service

Skills

Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS Strong time management skills to handle busy service periods efficiently Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally Experience in fine dining, nightclub, banquet, or food industry environments is highly desirable Knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol serving practices Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and managing tabs accurately Ability to work night shifts in a fast-paced hospitality setting including restaurants or bars Previous experience in catering or food service roles is advantageous Strong communication skills and teamwork orientation to collaborate effectively with staff
