Job Overview

We are seeking a friendly and skilled Bartender to join our dynamic hospitality team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment, with experience in food and beverage service, including fine dining, nightclub, or banquet settings. This role involves preparing and serving beverages, managing POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all guests. The bartender will also handle cash handling, food safety, and responsible serving practices to ensure compliance with industry standards. Candidates with a background in brewing, catering, or retail math are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently using POS systems like Aloha POS and Micros POS. Engage with customers in a friendly manner, providing excellent customer service to enhance their experience. Manage cash handling and cashiering duties with accuracy, including processing payments and giving correct change. Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards at the bar area, adhering to food handling regulations. Restock bar supplies as needed and ensure the bar area is organized at all times. Monitor guest consumption to promote responsible drinking practices. Collaborate with kitchen staff for food service during events such as banquets or catering functions. Manage time effectively during busy hours to serve multiple guests efficiently while maintaining high-quality service. Uphold all safety protocols related to alcohol service, including checking IDs and recognizing signs of intoxication.

Qualifications

Proven experience in food service or hospitality roles, preferably in fine dining, nightclub, or banquet environments. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS is highly desirable. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders during peak hours seamlessly. Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math understanding, and accurate order processing. Knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service practices. Previous experience in brewing or catering is a plus but not required. Ability to work flexible hours including nights; experience in nightclubs or food industry preferred. Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude are essential for success in this role.
