Responsibilities
Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests according to standard recipes and presentation guidelines
Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner to ensure an enjoyable experience
Manage bar inventory, restock supplies, and maintain cleanliness of the bar area
Operate POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate order processing and cash handling
Ensure compliance with food safety and alcohol service regulations
Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashing out guests and balancing registers at shift end
Assist with catering events, banquets, or special functions as needed
Maintain knowledge of menu items, drink specials, and upcoming promotions
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth service flow during busy hours
Skills
Proven experience as a bartender or in food service within hospitality settings such as fine dining, nightclubs, or banquet facilities
Proficiency with POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS; experience with cashiering is a plus
Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally
Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours
Knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service practices
Ability to perform basic math for cash handling, change calculation, and sales tracking using retail math principles
Experience serving in diverse environments such as nightclubs, catering events, or the food industry is highly desirable
Familiarity with brewing processes or beverage crafting is a plus
Ability to work flexible hours including nights; previous restaurant or hospitality experience preferred
