Job Summary

We are seeking an enthusiastic and personable Bartender to join our dynamic hospitality team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering exceptional customer service, possess strong knowledge of food and beverage operations, and be skilled in creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests. This role involves preparing and serving drinks, managing POS systems, and ensuring a memorable experience for all patrons in a fast-paced environment, including fine dining, nightclub, banquet, and catering settings.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS Engage with guests to provide excellent customer service, taking orders, and offering recommendations Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards Handle cash transactions accurately through cashiering and cash handling procedures Manage time efficiently during busy hours to serve multiple tables or bar patrons effectively Restock supplies and monitor inventory levels to ensure smooth operation Uphold responsible alcohol service policies and verify guest age with proper identification Assist in food service when needed, including serving food at banquets or catering events Demonstrate knowledge of the food industry, beverage trends, brewing processes, and hospitality best practices Maintain a friendly, professional demeanor while working night shifts in nightclub or restaurant settings

Requirements

Previous experience in food service, restaurant, retail math, or hospitality environments preferred; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally Basic math skills for cash handling, sales transactions, and retail math calculations Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures Ability to work night shifts in a fast-paced environment including nightclubs, banquets, or catering events Experience with serving alcohol responsibly and verifying guest identification for age restrictions Strong communication skills and teamwork orientation to collaborate effectively with staff members
