Responsibilities
Prepare and serve a large range of wine, beer, seltzers and non-alcoholic beverages with precision pour size and presentation standards.
Engage with guests warmly, taking orders accurately and providing personalized recommendations to enhance their experience.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety and sanitation standards at all times.
Manage POS systems Toast POS efficiently for order processing, cash handling, and sales transactions.
Monitor guest behavior responsibly, ensuring a safe environment
Restock bar supplies promptly to keep pace with high-volume service periods and prevent shortages.
Handle cash transactions accurately using basic math skills and retail math principles; process payments swiftly and securely.
Uphold food safety standards related to food handling, serving food responsibly when required, and maintaining proper hygiene practices. We offer a very limited offering of snacks and premade charcuterie
Assist in training new team members on POS systems, beverage preparation techniques, and customer service protocols.
Requirements
Proven experience as a bartender in fine dining establishments, nightclubs, or banquet settings; prior retail or food service experience is advantageous.
Most advantageous would be wine knowledge but trainable
Familiarity with POS systems such as Toast, Aloha POS or Micros POS for efficient order entry and cash handling.
Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders during busy shifts while maintaining quality service.
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures.
Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for cash handling and sales transactions.
Experience working with alcohol serving regulations and responsible beverage service practices.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as required by hospitality venues
