Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment, particularly in fine dining and nightlife settings. As a bartender, you will be responsible for crafting cocktails, managing the bar area, correctly ringing in tabs, and working together as a team to ensure great customer service and a fun atmosphere for our guests to enjoy.

Duties

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences. Operate SpotOn POS system for order entry and payment processing. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety and hygiene standards. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and delivering drinks promptly. Manage cash and credit card handling accurately, including correctly ringing in items as they are made, processing payments and giving change. Assist with banquet services and catering events as needed, ensuring high-quality service at all times. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food items when applicable. Uphold knowledge of brewing techniques and cocktail recipes to enhance guest experiences. Demonstrate effective time management skills to handle busy shifts efficiently.

Qualifications

Previous bartending/serving experience in a restaurant or high-volume setting is preferred. Familiarity with Spot On systems is a plus. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests. Basic math skills for cash handling and order accuracy. Knowledge of food safety practices and food handling regulations is essential. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively within busy shifts.
