Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages efficiently and accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS. Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their overall experience. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety and food handling standards. Manage cash handling, cashiering, and basic math calculations for accurate billing and change. Monitor inventory levels of beverages and supplies, restocking as needed to ensure seamless service. Uphold responsible serving practices by checking IDs and adhering to alcohol service regulations. Collaborate with the catering, banquet, or nightclub teams to coordinate service during events or busy hours. Demonstrate knowledge of food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures. Utilize your experience in retail math, cash handling, and POS operations to ensure efficient transactions. Contribute to a lively atmosphere by serving drinks promptly while maintaining a high standard of customer service.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a bartender in fine dining, nightclub, banquet, or food service environments preferred. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable. Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively during busy periods. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic demeanor. Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques. Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash handling and sales transactions. Previous experience in hospitality or food industry roles such as serving or catering is advantageous. Experience working in retail math or restaurant settings will be considered a plus. Must be 18 years or older with valid certifications where applicable; nightclubs may require specific licensing.
