Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages efficiently and accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS. Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their overall experience. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards and food handling regulations. Manage cash handling responsibilities including cashiering, basic math calculations, and retail math to process transactions smoothly. Restock bar supplies, monitor inventory levels, and place orders as needed to ensure seamless service during busy hours. Uphold responsible serving practices by verifying guest IDs, monitoring alcohol consumption, and adhering to all beverage laws. Collaborate with kitchen staff for food service coordination during events like banquets or catering functions. Demonstrate excellent time management skills by balancing multiple orders efficiently during peak hours in environments such as nightclubs or restaurants.

Requirements

Prior experience in food service or hospitality roles, especially with restaurant experience or fine dining background. Proficiency with POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS; experience with cash handling and cashiering is essential. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively in fast-paced settings like nightclubs or banquet events. Knowledge of food safety standards, food handling procedures, and responsible alcohol serving practices. Ability to manage time effectively while multitasking during busy shifts; experience with retail math is advantageous. Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude to work collaboratively with colleagues across the hospitality industry. Basic math skills for accurate cash handling, sales transactions, and inventory management. Experience working in environments such as breweries, catering events, or retail food industry settings is preferred but not required. Pay: $21.53 - $25.93 per hour
