Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly and take beverage orders with enthusiasm, ensuring a positive first impression. Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, adhering to recipes and presentation standards. Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS accurately for order processing, payments, and cash handling. Maintain a clean and organized bar area, following strict food safety and food handling protocols. Monitor guest consumption responsibly, promoting responsible drinking practices. Upsell menu items effectively to maximize sales opportunities while providing excellent customer service. Handle cash transactions efficiently, balancing registers at shift end with basic math skills and retail math knowledge. Collaborate with kitchen staff during events like banquets or catering functions to ensure seamless service delivery. Stay informed about current beverage trends, brewing techniques, and local alcohol regulations. Assist in maintaining compliance with food safety standards and health regulations at all times. Contribute to a lively nightclub or event atmosphere by engaging with guests and supporting overall event success.

Experience

Previous restaurant or food service experience is highly preferred, especially within fine dining or upscale hospitality environments. Experience working in nightclubs or banquet settings is a strong plus, demonstrating ability to handle high-volume service periods confidently. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS enhances efficiency in order processing and sales tracking. Proven skills in serving alcohol responsibly while maintaining excellent customer service are essential. Knowledge of food safety practices, food handling procedures, and basic math for cash handling ensures smooth daily operations. Experience in retail math or hospitality roles involving cashiering, catering, or food industry operations will support your success in this role.
