18+ (Must be able to obtain a Town of Burlington bartending license)

About the Job

Countryside Pub is looking for a friendly, reliable, and fast-paced bartender to join our small but mighty team. If you enjoy a fun, down-to-earth atmosphere and can handle both the Friday night rush and the regular small-town shenanigans with a smile, this job might be your perfect fit.

ResponsibilitiesBartending & Customer Service

Greet customers with a warm, welcoming attitude Take accurate food and drink orders Prepare and serve basic drinks (beer, seltzers, mixers, cocktails, etc.) Deliver food promptly and ensure guest satisfaction Use POS system Handle cash and credit card transactions

Service & Floor Duties

Maintain clean, organized tables and bar area Buss, wipe, and reset tables as needed Keep all customer areas stocked, tidy, and running smoothly

Side Work & Closing Responsibilities

Take out garbage and recycling Stock and clean bathrooms (TP, soap, towels, etc.) Sweep floors throughout bar and dining areas Clean and wipe down the entire bar Wash, dry, and put away all glassware Restock all coolers and refill liquor behind the bar Refill ketchups, salt & pepper shakers, carryout boxes, silverware, and napkins Ensure service stations are fully stocked for the next shift Turn off all lights, lock all doors, and secure the building before leaving

What We're Looking For

Must be 18 years or older Friendly, dependable, and able to keep up in a fast-paced environment Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure Team-player attitude (no divas, no drama)
