American Legion Apache Post 27 provides services to military veterans and their families including a place to build community, socialize, have a good meal and enjoy a variety of entertainment. We are seeking skilled and enthusiastic Bartenders to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and exceptional customer service skills, with experience in private club environments. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for creating memorable experiences for our guests through expertly crafted beverages and attentive service. The positions offered are Seasonal beginning mid to late September through the end of April. Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety and health regulations. Engage with customers, providing recommendations and ensuring a positive dining experience. Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments through POS systems. Assist in inventory management by tracking supplies and placing orders as needed. Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food service during busy periods, including catering and banquet events. Demonstrate knowledge of brewing techniques and cocktail recipes to enhance guest satisfaction. Uphold high standards of hospitality while managing time effectively during peak hours
Skills

Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Excellent sales abilities to promote menu items and increase beverage sales. Previous fine dining or nightclub experience preferred, with a solid understanding of food service operations. Familiarity with food safety practices, food handling procedures, and basic math for accurate cash handling. Ability to work collaboratively within a team while maintaining a friendly demeanor towards guests. Adhere to Local, State and Federal laws regarding serving and sales of alcohol Proficient in POS systems for efficient order processing.
