Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and professional Bar / Server to join our small team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional service to guests in a lively bar & grill environment, ensuring a memorable experience. Experience in fine dining, food handling, and customer service is highly valued. This role offers an opportunity to work in a vibrant setting where hospitality and attentiveness are key.

Duties

Greet guests promptly and courteously upon arrival Take and serve drink orders accurately, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages Assist with food preparation and presentation as needed Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including glassware and utensils Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards at all times Provide knowledgeable recommendations on drinks and menu items to enhance guest experience Handle cash transactions or POS systems efficiently and accurately Collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure smooth service flow Assist with banquet or event service when required, supporting catering functions

Requirements

Prior experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality industry preferred, especially in a bar / fast passed restaurant Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor Knowledge of food handling, food safety protocols, and dietary considerations Barista or bartending experience is a plus, demonstrating familiarity with drink preparation and serving techniques Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Excellent communication skills and teamwork orientation Previous experience with food preparation or catering is advantageous Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or special events as needed 21+ only at this time Ability to run the bar and dining room by yourself on slower nights Ability to run bar and dining room and cook - with multiple bartenders, you would cook the food you took an order for. Can NOT drink while clocked in

Pay: $2.62 per hour
