Duties
Supervise all bar operations, including food preparation, beverage service, and cleanliness standards, ensuring a seamless guest experience
Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies, monitoring stock levels, and minimizing waste using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS
Oversee cash handling procedures, reconcile cash registers, and ensure accurate financial transactions at all times
Lead staff training and development initiatives to enhance skills in food handling, customer service, and safety protocols
Coordinate shift management by scheduling staff efficiently to meet customer demand during peak hours in a quick service & fast food restaurant or casual dining setting
Enforce food safety standards and compliance with health regulations to uphold the highest quality standards in food production and beverage service
Foster a positive team environment by supervising staff performance, conducting interviews for new hires, and supporting ongoing training & development efforts
Qualifications
Proven experience in restaurant management or food service management with supervising responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen management within casual dining or fine dining settings
Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS; experience with cash handling and inventory control is essential
Demonstrated leadership skills with experience in staff training, team management, interviewing, and shift management
Background in hospitality management with a focus on customer service excellence in the food industry
Experience with food safety standards, food handling procedures, and kitchen experience is highly desirable
Ability to multitask effectively while maintaining attention to detail in a busy bar or restaurant environment
