Responsibilities



Supervise all bar operations, including staff scheduling, shift management, and ensuring efficient service delivery during busy hours. Lead staff training and development initiatives to enhance skills in food preparation, cocktail crafting, customer service, and safety protocols. Manage inventory control by monitoring stock levels, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste to optimize profitability. Oversee food and beverage presentation standards, ensuring quality in food handling, cooking, and drink preparation. Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate cash handling, order processing, and sales reconciliation. Enforce food safety regulations and hygiene standards in compliance with health department guidelines. Coordinate with kitchen management on food production, catering events, banquets, or special functions to deliver seamless service experiences. Conduct staff interviews, performance evaluations, and assist in hiring qualified team members to build a motivated workforce. Maintain a lively yet professional environment that promotes excellent customer service and guest satisfaction. Handle customer inquiries or complaints promptly to ensure positive experiences that foster repeat business. Support budgeting efforts by tracking sales data and controlling costs related to food handling and beverage supplies. Ensure adherence to all hospitality industry standards while fostering a fun and energetic workplace culture.

Skills



Proven experience in restaurant or bar management with strong supervisory skills. Extensive knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and food safety practices. Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient transaction processing. Strong understanding of inventory control procedures including ordering, stock rotation, and waste reduction. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle challenging situations gracefully. Leadership qualities that inspire team management, training & development, and effective communication. Experience in managing shift schedules within quick service & fast food restaurant environments or casual dining settings. Familiarity with hospitality management principles including budgeting, food production oversight, and catering coordination. Ability to supervise food handling procedures while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety. Knowledge of culinary techniques related to bar services such as cocktail mixing or coffee preparation (barista experience is a plus). Strong organizational skills for supervising kitchen operations during busy periods or special events like banquets or catering functions.
