NIKOLA'S BAKERY

is a 29 year old family company that is growing its traditional bakery business. We are located in Bloomington, MN. We manufacture high quality products and are seeking high quality team members.

Purpose of the Job

:: To safely, accurately and efficiently mix batters and streusel while properly maintaining high quality and Good Manufacturing Practices. On the job training will be provided.

s:

Accurately prepping, scaling, and putting raw ingredients into mixers. Work independently and collaborate with Production Leads and Production Supervisor. Work to set up equipment and conduct other bakery lead duties as needed. Must communicate on all matters relating to the baking process and quality to Supervisors and the QA Manager. Work hard and diligently throughout the shift to ensure that Nikola's Bakery produces the high-quality products our customers love. Effective communication and organizational skills a must.

MUST WORK EFFICIENTLY, CLEANLY, AND SAFELY!

QUALIFICATIONS

REQUIRED
3 years of Commercial Baking or Mixing experience, or 5 years of professional restaurant kitchen experience. Able to communicate, understand, follow standards, procedures and instructions. Good organizational and detail orientated skills. Able to cooperate with all co-workers and supervisory staff. Able to work independently. Able to work overtime as needed. REQUIRED PROPER AUTHORIZATION TO WORK IN THE U.S. Work 6:00 am to 2:30 pm Mon - Fri.

QUALIFICATIONS

DESIRED
Bilingual Spanish and English. 3 years experience in Bakery Manufacturing

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Must be able to work up to a 10 hour shift while standing or walking to perform essential functions. Will be required to lift and move many 50 lb bags during the course of a workday. Must be able to push or pull up and lift up to to 50 lbs. at a time. Will require bending, stooping, and occasional use of a ladder and walk up and onto a platform. Must be able to communicate effectively with management and team members.

Basic English communication skills is a MUST
