Thomas Allen is Hiring an Awake Night Direct Support Professional! No experience necessary. Paid training provided! LOCATION: Lakeview HOURS AVAILABLE: 10p-8a Friday/Saturday/Sunday JOB SUMMARY: As an Awake Night Direct Support Professional, you will: Provide proactive, empowering, and inclusive support, guidance, and supervision Remain awake overnight while maintaining the health and safety of the individuals served Document all day-to-day interactions and activities Perform light housekeeping duties Perform medication administration duties Check on the individuals served throughout the night Assist with personal cares Complete other duties as assigned About our home: Our home is located in Richfield, MN, and is home to 4 male residents. Our residents are friendly and social. Residents do need assistance with personal cares. The Awake Night DSP will need to assist residents if they wake during the night, perform cleaning and maintenance tasks, and assist with meal prep and medication administration. This program does support individuals with a hoyer lift transfer and wheelchair. QUALIFICATIONS: Willing to commit to and implement person-centered support Ability to lift and carry up to 30 lbs High school diploma or equivalent Department of Human Services background clearance Valid driver\'s license, acceptable driving record, and proof of auto insurance required Must be 18 years or older Ability to effectively communicate in English, both written and verbally Thomas Allen, Inc. is a social services agency that provides a variety of person-centered services to individuals with disabilities throughout the state of Minnesota.
