Reviewed.com is looking for an audience engagement manager to lead the team spearheading an ecosystem of newsletters, notifications, and digital nurture.

What does that mean? We want someone who can:

  • Streamline and optimize our newsletters
  • Plan personalized experiences for our subscribers
  • Research and deliver new and creative ways to engage with our audience
  • Incentivize our visitors to be active participants in our growing ecosystem of freemium and premium tools

We are rebuilding our product portfolio, focusing on what our audience will want and need in the new age of AI tools.

This is a full-time, salaried role working 40 hours per week. Remote candidates in all states except Alaska & Hawaii are welcome to apply or you can be based in our Cambridge, MA office.

Responsibilities:
  • Analyze newsletter, website, and push notification performance to make data-driven decisions for their evolution
  • Engage with Marketing, Editorial and Business Development to proactively plan audience engagement campaigns for their content and events
  • Find opportunities to streamline and enhance processes and experiences using new AI technologies and tools
  • Lead content creators in developing the voice and content for push notifications, newsletters, and other audience engagement opportunities
  • Manage a content calendar across multiple platforms, campaigns, and content types
  • Partner with senior leadership on the future of newsletters and new audience engagement technology as Reviewed builds out a new user ecosystem
  • Embrace new opportunities to monetize content through tuning of affiliate links and partnership on sponsored content
  • Conceptualize, plan, and drive initiatives which will grow newsletter subscription and increase subscriber retention
  • Streamline newsletter creation through automation, AI tools and developing better audience segmentation
Requirements:
  • Bachelor\'s or master\'s degree in communications, journalism, marketing or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 5+ years in a marketing role, ideally audience engagement, social strategy, or email marketing
  • 3+ years of experience with email marketing platforms like Mailchimp
  • Experience with push notification platforms like Pushly
  • Knowledge of search engine optimization
  • Experience building and strategizing for audience segments
  • Self-starter skillset is MANDATORY in this remote-first organization
  • Comfortable in the Google Analytics ecosystem
  • Great creative writing skills
  • Power user of Excel/Sheets
  • Comfort with HTML and CSS

Our Work Environment:

Most of the work takes place in an open floor plan office, with several smaller meeting rooms and test labs throughout the building. You\'re expected to be accessible to the team throughout the day via face-to-face communication, email, phone, and Slack. (The office is currently closed due to COVID-19 and most tasks can be completed from home in the interim.)

The annualized base salary for this role will range between $59,400.00 and $140,300.00. Variable compensation is not reflected in these figures and based on the role, may be applicable. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, location, and union representation, if applicable.
