Job Purpose

The PBM Operations PMO team is a group of client account support professionals responsible for successfully managing and delivering strategic projects while driving client/customer focused problem resolution and influencing/leading process improvement. This position will support ongoing client management functions, and day to day operations, primarily in the regulated market space.

As an Associate Program Manager on the PMO team, you are responsible for managing routine and complex work assignments. The role partners with internal resources to provide project support and is responsible for handling operational needs including file transmission requests, issue management support and monitoring, meeting support, special projects and administrative support for the team as needed.

The role is tasked with achieving business results through consistent customer-centric service delivery, operational excellence, and effective partnership with all operational and cross-functional colleagues and external vendors.

The role exists within a fast-paced and dynamic team of highly supportive project management and operations specialists and leaders whose focus is to collaborate and empower each other to deliver complex projects on time and without issue, and provide best in class client in order to best position our clients, their members and those who support them for success.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Manage assigned requests, ensuring delivery with respect to the overall project timeline and intent, and communicating associated risk and status.
  • Support ongoing daily client requests and needs, including, but not limited to client projects and additional DIV implementations through tracking and reporting status and metrics, submitting cases for changes to setup, issue management and other requests. The role is not client facing unless assigned by leadership.
  • Assist with scheduling and/or joining internal and external calls to provide ad hoc support as assigned. This may include creating and/or displaying meeting presentations, documenting and/or distributing meeting notes to attendees, and other related responsibilities.
  • Support team development and effectiveness by engaging with peers and leadership in knowledge sharing, training and special projects.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma required.
  • Bachelor degree preferred.
  • Administrative and/or project management experience required.
  • Knowledge or experience in a pharmacy benefits management environment or Healthcare industries preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage work load and meet project deadlines.
  • Proficient PC skills including Microsoft Office application (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) required.
If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.
