Essential Functions/Responsibility Statements:
  • The candidate should have a broad understanding of CIB business.
  • The candidate should have experience of a broad range of disciplines including:
  • Internal communications
  • Copywriting \xe2\x80\x93 both long form and short format
  • Social media content
  • Events
  • Branding
  • Sponsoring
  • Managing vendors and procurement processes
This role will elaborate and deploy Santander Corporate & Investment Banking US internal communications plan as well as internal and external events, branding, sponsoring and other marketing and communications projects. The candidate should be able to work in cohesive, integrated communications materials for SCIB US business aligned with global strategy and in conjunction with stakeholders in the business areas, strategy team \xe2\x80\xa6 Writes and delivers content for internal websites, emails, and social media. Applies knowledge to increasing the effective use of social media at the Company.
Assists with new business opportunities and meeting booklets, proposals, presentations, etc. Designs, coordinates event, including requesting vendor\'s proposals, placing orders, expense requests, invoicing and payment control. Creating and managing event site, manages invitations, RSVPs, tracking and reporting.

Presents and messages actionable and relevant information around marketing plans and deliverables to management as needed.




Qualifications:

Education:
Bachelor\'s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, or equivalent field. Fluent in English and Spanish.
The candidate should have a broad understanding of CIB business.

Work Experience:
Marketing, Communications or related experience. , 3-5 years
Financial Services Industry experience. , 0-3 years

  • Ability to work with internal stakeholders (and external stakeholder where appropriate) to gather appropriate inputs to inform and deliver the strategy, as well as producing comms materials or other marketing projects.
  • Ability to motivate or influence inside senior level personnel, requiring a significant level of influence and trust.
  • Extremely strong written abilities, with consideration of creative writing preferred.
  • Ability to work independently with a high level of critical thinking skills.
  • Comfortable with new digital technology, social media, and reporting.
  • Candidate must be able to think strategically, but be willing and able to roll up sleeves to help implement the programs.
  • Ability to work individually on a project or in a team environment; ability to listen, evaluate different view points and influence others.

Working Conditions: Frequent Minimal physical effort such as sitting, standing and walking. Occasional moving and lifting equipment and furniture is required to support onsite and offsite meeting setup and teardown. Physically capable of lifting up to fifty pounds, able to bend, kneel, climb ladders.
