Job Overview


We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate General Dentist to join our reputable dental practice. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive dental care, ensuring optimal patient outcomes while maintaining the highest standards of infection control and patient safety. The position requires proficiency in general dentistry procedures, excellent patient care skills, and familiarity with dental software systems such as Epic, Eaglesoft, and Dentrix.

Responsibilities



Perform a wide range of dental services including examinations, restorations, extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, and endodontics. Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans. Utilize dental imaging and medical documentation tools to accurately record patient information. Apply aseptic techniques and infection control protocols to ensure a safe clinical environment. Collaborate with dental team members to deliver efficient four-handed dentistry and enhance patient comfort. Educate patients on oral health, treatment options, and preventive care strategies. Maintain accurate medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Use dental terminology effectively to communicate diagnoses and treatment plans with patients and team members. Stay current with advancements in general dentistry practices and participate in ongoing professional development.

Qualifications



DDS or DMD degree from an accredited institution. Valid state dental license to practice as a General Dentist. Experience with dental office management software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix preferred. Knowledge of pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, prosthodontics, endodontics, and medical imaging techniques. Proficiency in dental terminology, medical terminology, and anatomy knowledge relevant to dentistry. Demonstrated experience in patient care, patient assessment, and medical documentation. Familiarity with infection control protocols and aseptic techniques within a clinical setting. Ability to perform dental extractions, root canal therapy, and other complex procedures confidently. Strong communication skills with the ability to educate patients effectively about their oral health needs. Prior experience working in a dental clinic or dental office environment is highly desirable. Pay: $700.00 - $2,000.00 per day
