We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Associate General Dentist to join our reputable PPO FFS dental practice. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in general dentistry, with proficiency in a variety of dental procedures and patient care. This role offers an opportunity to provide comprehensive dental services in a collaborative environment, utilizing advanced technology and adhering to the highest standards of infection control and patient confidentiality.
Duties
Perform comprehensive dental examinations and assessments, including patient evaluation and diagnosis.
Deliver a wide range of dental treatments such as dental restorations, extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, and oral surgery procedures.
Utilize dental imaging and medical records to develop effective treatment plans.
Apply aseptic techniques and infection control protocols to ensure patient safety.
Conduct pediatric dentistry procedures with specialized care for young patients.
Engage in four-handed dentistry practices to enhance efficiency and patient comfort.
Maintain accurate documentation of all procedures using dental terminology consistent with HIPAA regulations.
Educate patients on oral health, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions.
Collaborate with dental team members to ensure seamless patient care delivery and uphold clinic standards.
Requirements
Valid license to practice dentistry in the state; experience with Open Dental
Proven experience in general dentistry with knowledge of dental terminology, medical terminology, and anatomy.
Skills in pediatric dentistry, endodontics, prosthodontics, oral surgery, and dental fabrication are highly desirable.
Demonstrated proficiency in medical imaging, root canal therapy, dental extractions, and infection control practices.
Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations and medical documentation standards.
Experience working in a dental clinic or dental office environment; familiarity with pediatric dentistry is a plus.
Ability to perform procedures with precision while maintaining patient comfort and safety.
