Position Summary...

What you\'ll do...

We are looking for an accomplished and experienced Associate Fellow II, Engineer to join our organization. As a Associate Fellow II, you will lead software engineering teams, mentor engineers, guide architectural design, and serve as a central resource, driving the development of complex and scalable systems to ensure the success of our software projects. We\'re looking for a true General Athlete with deep distributed systems experience that can solve problems throughout our omnichannel retail sandbox, whether that be fulfillment, search, or any other focus area of opportunity.

What you\'ll do:

Lead and provide technical guidance to software engineering teams, promoting a collaborative work environment

Lead the development of complex and scalable systems, applying architectural principles, patterns, and create high-quality solutions.

Mentor engineers, providing guidance on coding standards, latest technologies, and industry trends.

Dive deep into the details of architectural design, ensuring adherence to quality, security, and scalability standards.

Be a central guide and resource for the teams, providing expertise throughout the software development lifecycle.

What you\'ll bring:

Strong command of various coding languages, frameworks, and tools, including but not limited to JavaScript, Python, C#, .NET, Microsoft Azure, AWS, and more

Ability to build and deploy complex system

Proficient in applying architectural principles, understanding system behavior, and developing technology strategies.

Experience mentoring engineers, promoting a culture of learning and continuous improvement.

Ability to stay up to date with the latest technologies and new trends in the industry.

Live Better U is a Walmart-paid education benefit program for full-time and part-time associates in Walmart and Sam\'s Club facilities. The annual salary range for this position is $240,000.00-$360,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance incentives.

Additional compensation for certain positions may also include:

- Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) (based on location)

- Stock equity incentives

Minimum Qualifications...

Bachelor\'s degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or related area.

18 years\' experience with technology/engineering focus working on large-scale and transaction intensive product/product groups in a globally distributed work environment.
