About the Position:

The Associate Director is responsible for planning, organizing, directing, and coordinating all aspects of the JCOD STOP and AB-109 JCOD STOP project(s). This position develops, interprets, and administers policies and procedures governing the project, and administers appropriate strategies for recruitment, selection, and retention of staff. This management-level position oversees the delivery of services, ensures contract compliance policies, procedures and fiscal regulations pertaining to this project as it relates to overall Community Based Projects Department operations. High level criminal justice and law enforcement interaction and relationship development. This position acts as the operations manager overseeing faculty and the day-to-day operations of this project.

Salary Range: $76k - $79k

What You Will Do:

  • Oversees the implementation and timely reporting for all data collection systems.
  • Ensures timely responses to upper management requests for statistics, reports, and data.
  • Ensures data entry in terms of monthly invoicing and billing procedures, particularly of subcontractors.
  • Develops quality control procedures to ensure high-quality service.
  • Ensures the provision of client-centered services that are aligned with contract objectives.
  • Responsible for overall supervision and oversight of all contracts, subcontracts, and faculty to ensure service delivery meets organizational standards and contractual obligations.
  • Possesses strong working knowledge of programmatic processes, including evaluation design and data collection.
  • Monitors the casework of Faculty.
  • Addresses the operational needs associated with Community Based Projects Department.
  • Provides in-service training for new faculty, as needed.
  • Responsible for fiscal monitoring of expenditures in concert with the Project Director.
  • Ensures faculty and contracts follow policies and procedures to meet all contract(s) requirements.
  • Works collaboratively with other Amity Departments, Criminal Justice Entities, and Community Partners.
  • Additional duties as assigned.
What You Will Bring:
  • Minimum four (4) years Reentry Services supervisory experience with criminal justice-involved populations; OR four-year degree from an accredited college or university in psychology, sociology, criminal justice, or other related field AND three (2) years of documented supervisory experience including, but not limited to, operational and administrative responsibility in a Reentry Services setting designed for criminal justice population.
  • A plus: Current Substance Use Disorder (SUD) Certification approved by the State of California Department of Healthcare Services (DHCS). Specialized Treatment for Optimized Programming (STOP) model or (similar) third party administrator operational and organizational experience.
  • Highly competent in organizational leadership and contract compliance.
  • Ability to integrate, disseminate, and implement requirements, reporting timeframes and/or procedure changes.
  • Ability to effectively supervise and train a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written communications and typing skills.
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends when necessary.
