- One (1) year of work experience with small children OR HS diploma/GED
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Demonstrated patience and compassion
- Guidance & Relationship Building. Develop and maintain a positive relationship with all of the children and their families; effectively guide the children\xe2\x80\x99s behavior in an age appropriate manner; meet the physical, social, cognitive, emotional and cultural needs of individual children
- Development. Assists the teacher in providing a developmentally appropriate program for all of the children while fostering an environment that supports their growth
- Safety & Oversight. Ensure the safety of the children and promote healthy habits; work with colleagues and community representatives to support children and families
