Great Start Montessori School is looking for a full time assistant teacher qualify candidate. We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Classroom Assistant or Teacher\'s Aid to join our team of educators. Our school is committed to providing a nurturing and stimulating environment for children to develop their full potential. As a Classroom Assistant or Teacher\'s Aid, you will play a key role in supporting our lead teachers and helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment. Responsibilities: Assist lead teachers in preparing and maintaining the classroom environment, including setting up materials, cleaning up after activities, and organizing supplies.
Help lead teachers in implementing the Montessori curriculum, including presenting lessons and guiding children in their independent work.
Provide individual and small-group instruction to children as directed by lead teachers.
Observe and assess children\'s progress and behavior, and communicate regularly with lead teachers and parents.
Foster a positive, respectful, and inclusive classroom community, and model the values and principles of Montessori education.
Attend staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities as required. Qualifications: For an aid position: Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent For an assistant position: Minimum of some college coursework or a bachelor degree is required. Also Experience working with children in a Montessori or other educational setting preferred.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and children.
Demonstrated ability to work independently and take initiative.
Passion for working with children and commitment to their development and well-being.
This position is for a classroom of 20 children ages 3.5-5.5 yrs olds. Job Type: Full-time Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour Benefits:
