Construction Assistant Superintendent opportunity with attractive base salary plus bonuses! This role will be responsible for overall management of construction within ground up, new construction projects including office, hotels and mixed use in the DC/ Baltimore metro area. The Assistant Superintendent- Builder Developer- DC/Baltimore will be responsible for:

  • Site supervision and overseeing day-to-day construction activities.
  • Assisting in creating and maintaining project schedules.
  • Monitoring work quality and enforcing safety protocols.
  • Coordinating with subcontractors and ensuring compliance with contracts.
  • Managing delivery, storage, and inventory of materials and equipment.
  • Maintaining accurate documentation of daily activities and progress reports.
  • Identifying and addressing challenges or conflicts during construction.
  • Facilitating communication between stakeholders, including project team and subcontractors.
  • Assisting in monitoring project costs to stay within budget.
  • Providing support to the Superintendent and project team for smooth execution.

The Assistant Superintendent- Builder Developer- DC/Baltimore will have:
  • Understanding of construction day to day aspects.
  • Ground up, new construction experience is required. Supervision of 3 commercial construction projects from start to finish preferred.
  • Bachelor\'s Degree in Construction Science or related field, or equivalent combinations of technical training and/or experience to meet job requirements.
  • Minimum 5 years of progressive construction field supervisory experience with large-scale commercial construction projects.
  • Experience with construction site logistics planning, trade/subcontractor management, monitoring worker safety, quality control, construction project scheduling, material delivery coordination, , reading construction plans, blueprints and shop drawings
  • Strong time management skills, adaptable with ability to manage multiple priorities & meet deadlines that can hit the ground running.
