Assistant Superintendent

Job Description
The Assistant Superintendent will work directly with the Superintendent and participate in the daily work activities for the golf course and clubhouse grounds. Attention to detail and the ability to communicate effectively with the staff is imperative for the success of this position.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Direct and lead a crew of 15+
- Actively participate in maintaining the golf course
- Assist in all cultural activities and chemical application to the turfgrass
- Assist in maintaining the irrigation system
- Train staff and maintain proper safety guidance
- 3+ years experience in the turf industry
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to lead and communicate with maintenance staff
