Assistant Project Manager

Overview:
We are seeking an experienced full-time Assistant Project Manager. This position will work hand in hand with Project Managers to help manage the overall administration of the projects. The APM will be a proactive asset to the project management team and responsible for managing document control on all projects. While providing clerical administrative support, the APM will be the driving focus of all projects from start to finish.

Responsibilities:

• This position will support and report to the Project Managers.
• Coordinate project start-up with project managers.
• Proactively provide information on key performance indicators to project managers.
• Import detailer submittals into Tekla EPM.
• Combine Material and Create Cutting lists.
• Receive purchased material and verify material on hand.
• Update job progress reports MTRS and LEED report into the company drive.
• Create/generate a bill of lading when the job is ready for shipment.
• Print and mark up all assemble and part drawings for the shop floor.

Qualifications:

• Ability to read/follow plans/drawings.
• Experience working in the manufacturing industry preferred.
• Strong communication & organizational skills.
• Extremely detail-oriented & problem-solving ability.
• Ability to manage high-intensity environments and multi-tasking.
• Proficient in MS Office required.
