We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining high standards of food quality and safety. Duties
Assist the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily operations, including food preparation and service.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including food handling and safety standards.
Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies and monitoring stock levels.
Train, develop, and supervise staff to enhance their skills in customer service and food production.
Handle cash management duties, including cash handling procedures and POS transactions (Clover experience preferred).
Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment while ensuring equipment is properly maintained.
Foster a positive dining experience for guests by addressing concerns promptly and effectively.
Support budgeting activities to optimize operational efficiency.
Participate in interviewing potential staff members to build a strong team.
Experience
Proven experience in restaurant management or as an Assistant Manager in a quick service or fast food environment.
Strong background in food service management, including culinary experience and kitchen management.
Familiarity with fast casual dining
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations is essential.
Experience in training & development of staff members to ensure high performance levels.
Strong customer service orientation with effective communication skills. This position requires individuals who are proactive, detail-oriented, and possess strong organizational skills.
