Overview


We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Hotel Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for providing exceptional guest services. This role is crucial in supporting the Hotel Manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring guest satisfaction, and maintaining high standards of hospitality. The Assistant Hotel Manager will also play a key role in revenue management, budgeting, and human resources functions.

Responsibilities



Assist in managing hotel operations to ensure a seamless guest experience. Supervise front desk staff and oversee guest services to enhance customer satisfaction. Handle guest relations, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly. Support revenue management strategies to optimize hotel occupancy and profitability. Participate in budgeting processes, ensuring financial goals are met. Conduct night audits and maintain accurate financial records. Train and mentor staff in hospitality best practices and hotel policies. Manage multi-line phone systems with professionalism and excellent phone etiquette. Collaborate with various departments to ensure smooth operations across the hotel. Uphold high standards of cleanliness, safety, and service throughout the property.

Experience



Previous experience in hotel management or a similar role is required. Supervising experience in a hospitality setting is essential. Familiarity with revenue management principles and practices is preferred. Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction. Experience with human resources functions within a hotel environment is an asset. Proficiency in handling front desk operations, including night audit procedures. Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to cater to diverse guests. Knowledge of budgeting processes within the hospitality industry is beneficial. A background in resort management or similar establishments is a plus.
