Job Description


Auburn Events is hiring an event assistant to assist with administrative, setup, hosting and breakdown of off-site events & catering as well as events at our two local special event venues in Auburn. This is a part-time position but could result in a full-time position and or advancement to a more senior position based on your effort, knowledge & success. Preferred Experience- Special Events, Hospitality, Sales, Reception, Job Type: Part-time Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour Schedule:

  • Day shift
  • Evening shift
  • On call
  • Weekend availability
Ability to commute/relocate:
  • Auburn, AL: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
Experience:
  • Events management: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Hospitality: 2 years (Preferred)
  • Bartending: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Kitchen: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Customer service: 2 years (Preferred)
License/Certification:
  • ServSafe (Preferred)
Shift availability:
  • Night Shift (Preferred)
  • Day Shift (Preferred)
Work Location: One location
