Assist with the management of the Golf programs including, but not limited to; coaching all practices and competitions, recruitment of prospective student athletes on and off campus, preparing and operating within budget, supervision of strength and conditioning program, scheduling competitions, arrangements for home and away contests, and general administrative tasks such as expense reports, recruiting data base, N.C.A.A. Compliance logs and forms. Cultivate and maintain relationships with area country club members in order to access playing privileges.
A bachelor\'s degree is required. Competitive intercollegiate experience desirable. Two-three years successful coaching experience, preferably at the collegiate level. Expertise in technical aspect of sport. Good organizational and communication skills. Ability to work effectively with college student athletes, athletic staff, University personnel and Alumni. Basic knowledge of N.C.A.A. rules needed. Proficient computer skills including, but not limited to, Microsoft Office Suite, social media postings, Trackman and other golf instructional technologies.
Full-Time Equivalent Hiring Range: $41,150 to $51,450; salary commensurate with relevant experience.
