Two Rivers Supervisory Union has an anticipated opening for the 2023-2024 school year for a Special Educator to work in their Emotional Learning Center located in Ludlow. This program will offer the opportunity for Pre-K through 6th grade students to integrate into the mainstream setting while providing them with the social emotional skills and support they need to be successful.The special educator will work with a multi-disciplinary team of professionals to meet the academic, social, emotional, and behavioral needs of students.Roles and Responsibilities:
- Provide individual and small group instruction for students.
- Maintain records on progress of students to identify difficulties, track progress and justify treatment.
- Possess a working knowledge of Special Education Law, writing Individualized Plans, adapting curriculum, and inclusionary practices.
- Collaborate and communicate effectively with teachers, special educators, related service providers and families to develop and implement programs.
