Job Summary

We're seeking a dedicated

Site Director

to lead our after-school program and oversee daily operations. In this role, you'll supervise a team of teachers, create a positive and safe learning environment, and build strong relationships with students, families, and school staff.

Schedule:

Monday - Thursday:

2:30 PM - 6:00 PM

Friday:

12:30 PM - 6:00 PM

Responsibilities

Lead and supervise a team of teachers, ensuring smooth daily operations. Foster a consistent, positive classroom culture for both students and staff. Maintain a safe, engaging, and enjoyable program environment. Motivate and support staff while upholding program standards and policies. Collaborate effectively with school staff, demonstrating professionalism under pressure. Ensure compliance with state and school guidelines. Maintain accurate attendance and program records using

JackRabbit

and other tools. Communicate with families using assigned

Google Voice

and email accounts. Partner with parents to provide exceptional care and education. Support recruitment and enrollment of new families and students. Maintain confidentiality of children, families, and staff information. Assist with coordinating program supplies, snacks, and materials. Prepare documentation and reports as needed.

Qualifications

Must be

18 years or older

with a

high school diploma or equivalent

. Ability to pass a

criminal background check

and

fingerprinting

.

First Aid/CPR certification

(or willingness to obtain).

Childcare education background

preferred. Minimum

6 months of supervisory experience

in childcare preferred. Comfortable using technology and learning new systems. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to engage and motivate children while managing behavioral challenges. Capable of light lifting and transporting program supplies.

Work Environment & Physical Demands

Light physical activity with occasional lifting required. May involve extended periods of sitting or computer work.
