Job Responsibilities

Reporting to the Director of Student Success, the Test Center Administrative Specialist is responsible for providing exemplary services to internal and external customers. The Test Center Administrative Specialist utilizes resources to deliver a high-quality testing experience.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provides responsive and accurate assistance to internal/external inquiries in person, by phone, or electronically.
  • Provides proctoring services by following established testing processes and systems to ensure integrity and quality.
  • Enters and updates tester data in the administrative software. Responsible for the processing of source documents for testing (grading).
  • With input from the supervisor, identifies, prioritizes, and completes administrative tasks for the Test Center to improve operations and services.
  • Assists with identifying, evaluating, and resolving problems or issues with internal/external customers.
  • Assists in serving as a backup to the Lead Test Proctor, including answering proctor questions regarding standard operating procedures, assisting in the training of new proctors, and assisting with technical issues.
  • Performs and maintains procedures to strengthen Test Center efficiency. Participates in campus-wide activities/committees and performs other administrative duties as assigned.
Minimum and Additional Requirements

High School diploma required. Current Aiken Technical College students are not eligible to work in the Test Center as a Proctor due to test security conflicts. Position will require flexibility in the work schedule in conjunction with peak testing times and operational hours that include evening and weekend hours.

Preferred Qualifications

An Associate\'s degree and one (1) year of related administrative office experience preferred.
