Division Overview
Hubbell Power Systems (HPS) engages in the design and manufacture of a wide variety of products used by utilities. Today, HPS is deeply engaged in product solutions for OSP Communication utility purposes, and has been actively growing that segment of the business. HPS roots have historically been in high voltage transmission, distribution, substation, underground products used by electric utilities. HPS products are also used in the civil construction, transportation, gas and water industries.

Position Overview



The Administrative Coordinator works with supervisors and plant management to ensure that daily production is entered in a timely manner. Maintains filing and assists plant administration with reception duties.

Duties and Responsibilities


  • Work well with others.
  • Answer phones and direct phone calls to the appropriate prties
  • Greet and help current visitors/applicants/employees
  • Participate in improvement activities
  • Complete reports as requested
  • Ability to work overtime is required in this position
  • Enter and update Plant Dashboards and reporting
  • Identify and constructively articulate deficiencies in paperwork
  • Accurately enter data
  • Track Work Orders
  • Assist with HR/plant events
  • Other duties as assigned


Skills and Experience


  • Ability to communicate effectively across a wide audience (Coordinators, Peers, Supervisors, Vendors, Purchasing, Production Control, Leads, Human Resources)
  • Read and write in English
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • SAP experience preferred


Education



High School Diploma
