Busy real estate brokerage firm needs an Administrative Assistant to work with our Property Management Team!
Must have excellent communication & customer service skills
Must be computer-literate and proficient in Microsoft Word & Excel
Must have at least 2 years experience working in an office setting
The position requires daily interaction with residents, clients, contractors & vendors.
In this job, you will be the first point of contact for the company at the Front Desk.
Responsibilities include:
Answering phones, taking & delivering messages;
Answering questions from prospective tenants about the rental process;
Issuing keys to prospective tenants, employees and realtors;
Processing rental applications;
Accepting security deposits, rent payments & late fees;
Writing receipts for payment & posting payments to property management system;
Conducting walk-throughs to identify cleaning, maintenance & repair needs;
Assisting with move-ins;
Processing evictions & attending Court for evictions on behalf of the company;
Creating work orders, and following up with vendors & maintenance team on outstanding work orders.
Fair Housing Act (FHA) training provided.
SCHEDULE: Monday-Friday 8:00 AM-5:00 PM, with 1 hour off for lunch & On-Call for rotating weeks after hours, for emergencies.
