Robert Half has an Accounts Payable (A/P) Clerk opportunity that offers a stimulating work environment with a team of highly skilled professionals. In this position, you will be required to manage all general administrative needs of the AP/Finance Department. You will work closely and report to the Accounting Manager. The candidate will mainly focus on matching and batching code, resolving A/P issues, processing expense reports, updating and reconciling sub-ledger to G/L and processing checks are primary areas of focus. What you get to do every day

- Perform special projects as assigned

- Open, sort, and distribute daily department mail

- Handle administrative tasks for the AP/Finance Department

- Facilitate internal and external audits as needed

- Provide customer service to internal business partners

- Execute daily processes and controls accurately and in a timely manner; ensuring compliance with company policies

- Carry out a full-cycle A/P

- Verify, log and mail checks, including expediting special handling

- Sort, log, scan, and file invoices, checks, and other documents

Requirements

- AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting, Business or similar preferred

- Attention to detail and proven ability to follow standard procedures is a requirement

- Ability to work within spreadsheets and databases

- Demonstrated communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills, especially with both technical and financial backgrounds

- Check Runs experience

- Experience with data entry

- Coding Invoices experience

- Account reconciliation experience

- Proven knowledge of Invoice Processing

- Well-founded grasp of Microsoft Excel

- Accounts Payable (AP) experience preferred

- Prior experience in an A/P role preferred
